Chrysler has announced a recall of roughly 32,125 vehicles with the potential to cause fire due to high voltage battery. Some 2021-2023 MY Jeep Wrangler Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (“PHEVs”) may have a high voltage (“HV”) battery which may fail internally. This malfunction can result in fire placing you in harm’s way. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has published this recall and quoted that this risk can occur even if the ignition is turned off.
