Did you purchase inhalants from any of the below listed companies that were marketed for alertness and energy boosting?   If so, you may have been deceived.  

The Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) has administered warning letters to Ward Smelling Salts, Ammonia Sport Inc., Skull Smash LLC, Spirochaete Research Labs, LLC aka Scitus Laboratory Products, Innovative Formulations, LLC dba Insane Labz, Native Salts LLC and Nose Slap LLC for marketing unapproved inhalants.

These manufacturers have not demonstrated these inhalants to be safe or effective for their intended purposes.  In addition, these products contain primarily ammonia.  Inhaling ammonia can result in coughing, airway constriction, and irritation to the eyes, nose and throat. The FDA has been notified of consumers experiencing a variety of symptoms after using these products, including shortness of breath, seizures, migraines, vomiting, diarrhea, and fainting.
