When consumers purchase toys for children, they do so based on the assurance that the product is safe. Unfortunately, parents are taking to social media to warn about a new toy unexpectedly going up in flames. Consumers are reporting that the 2.4 Ghz ATV Madness remote-controlled toy car has been catching on fire while charging.
Customers have contacted Kmart to address her concerns over the toy car, but no recall has been issued. Kmart representatives told at least one consumer not to leave her child with the toy “as there have been reports of fires and this car is very dangerous.”
The attorneys of Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson and Garber are investigating the 2.4 Ghz ATV. If you or someone you know purchased the 2.4 Ghz ATV Madness toy, please contact us to discuss your legal options.
