Certain 2019-2023 Chevrolet 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD Medium-Duty trucks have been recalled due to the vehicles break sensor assembly potential to leak into the brake pressure switch. This leakage can cause an electrical short-circuit to overheat and cause a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has published information on this recall for consumers. General Motors has advised owners to park their vehicles outside and away from structure as this short-circuit is unpredictable unless repaired.
