Thousands Of Chrysler Vehicles Violate The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. If You Own A Chrysler 2022-2023 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer Vehicle, You May Be At Risk.

Chrysler has announced a recall of approximately 44,708 vehicles with the potential cause an increase in the risk of injury. Certain 2022-2023 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles’ upper B-pillar interior trim may not be fully seated and could interfere with the side curtain air bag (SABIC) deployment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) notes these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 226, “Ejection Mitigation”. Such a defect will reduce occupant protection in the event of a crash, resulting in an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Chrysler is in clear violation of these safety requirements.
