Norton Healthcare, a Kentucky-based non-profit healthcare system, recently confirmed that hackers accessed the personal data of millions of patients and employees and their dependents, earlier this year, between May 7 and May 9.  A staggering number, of approximately 2.5 million people have been affected.  The stolen sensitive and personal information included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health and insurance information and medical identification numbers.  In some cases, the stolen information included financial account numbers, driver licenses or other government ID numbers and digital signatures.
