Suit filed On Behalf Of Pizza Hut Drivers In Missouri

On November 26, 2013, our firm filed suit in Missouri against NPC Pizza, Inc., a Pizza Hut franchisee, on behalf of NPC delivery driver Nathan Houston and thousands of other Pizza Hut delivery drivers. Although Missouri law — along with federal law and the law of many other states — requires that Pizza Hut fully reimburse its delivery drivers for car-related expenses, Pizza Hut systematically under-reimburses its drivers.

As a result, many Pizza Hut delivery drivers are effectively making less than the minimum wage.  NPC previously settled a similar case, but the settlement did not provide any relief for all NPC’s delivery drivers in Missouri or in other states.  The lawsuit filed today seeks money for Pizza Hut delivery drivers to make up for NPC’s systematic under-reimbursement.

We believe that employees deserve to be fully paid for their hard work.  Our firm is proud to represent under-paid delivery drivers in this litigation and in similar cases.  If you are a delivery driver and you believe your employer may not be properly reimbursing you for car-related expenses, please contact us to discuss your legal options.
