U.S. Food And Drug Administration Issues Warning Letter Over Organa International Products

If you purchased supplements from Organa.com based on representations that they help treat diseases or improve healing, then unfortunately you may have been a victim of false advertising.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning letter to Organa International concerning the company’s health benefit claims for all the following products:

  • Copper
  • Rhodium
  • Ruthenium
  • Zinc
  • Uplift
  • Immune Boost
  • Essiac Tea
  • Gold
  • Indium
  • Iron
  • Magnesium
  • Molybdenum
  • Palladium
  • Vanadium
  • MSM
  • Relieve Progesterone Cream
  • Silver Gel

The FDA noted that Organa claims benefits for these products such as that they can reduce the duration of cols and illnesses, provide improvements in chronic allergy conditions, , help reduce inflammation, inhibit the formation of cholesterol, or help with headaches/migraines, depression, PMS, skin irritations, arthritis, or even cancer.  However none of these Organa products have gone through the proper drug approval process to verify such claims, and the FDA letter states that these products appear to be misbranded.

The attorneys at Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP Have successfully represented consumers mislead by deceptive claims and are currently investigating this matter.  If you or someone you know has purchased any of these Organa products, and feel that you were misled by the company’s advertising, contact us to discuss your legal options.
